GlobalG.A.P.: certification of the agricultural production
The standard, through specific modules for Products to be certified, is accompanied by the systematic use of Good Agricultural Practices focused on lower use of fertilizers on crops and livestock feeding, in order to enhance the food safety for the consumer and for the environment. Ethics and work conditions requirements are also considered.
The “types” of certification may be divided into 2 principal ones:
OPTION 1:a single producer wishes to certify his products according to the requirements defined in GLOBALGAP standard for own activity.
OPTION 2: Producers Group (for example cooperative and producers organization, PMO, etc.) wishes to certify their activity according to the GLOBALGAP requirements.
