BRC IoP: standard applicable to packaging manufacturers
BRC IoP standard defines a list of requirements aimed to manage properly the hygienic aspects of all the phases of management, production and distribution processes of the food packaging industry, trough a:
- Clear definition of the requirements, risk factors and necessary control measures
- Management of the structural characteristics of the production sites
- Product and process control
- Adequate management of personnel behavior
The standard considers also the system aspects, taking into consideration the concepts included in ISO 9001 and it offers a great effect of synergy for the companies previously certified with ISO 9001.
